**Ihad been tested one of this controller for the situation of power outage (Somebrand's controller will not remember the setting. after power outage) I set upthe controller first, and then unplug the controller for one hour. After I plugthe controller back to the outlet, the temperature settings are unchanged. Inmy opinion, this controller passes my test of power outage. I will be comfortableuse this unit in my own life support systems. It is just my two cent. Isuggest you test yours new controller few times to ensure it is work**
