1. Dainichi Cichlid Veggie Deluxe Sinking Small Pellet Food 8.8oz (250g)

Features

VEGGIE DELUXE contains a unique blend of premium grade kelp and spirulina, designed to keep even the strictest herbivores in peak health and color. Also featuring krill, shrimp meal, white fish meal, garlic and un-cooked digestive enzymes, this high energy formula is packed with easily digestible sources of protein essential for growth and vigor of cichlids of all types. With five applications of color enhancing ingredients, the colors are exceptionally vivid and are displayed at an early age. As in all Dainichi foods, there is calcium montmorillonite clay to simulate the natural ingestion of mineral | particles and to bind and neutralize metabolic toxins. Raw, fully potent vitamins, digestive enzymes and garlic ensure that the fish are healthy and free of internal parasites. Furthermore, the scouring action of the clay enhances continuous rejuvenation of the digestive tract which when combined with only two sources of starch (flour as binder and wheat germ as a source of vitamin E and B) ensures the maximum rate of digestion and assimilation of nutrients

INGREDIENTS

Kelp, white fish meal, soybean meal, wheat flour, krill, spirulina, shrimp, wheat germ, calcium montmorillonite clay, brewer's yeast, powdered milk, vitamin mix, mineral mix, garlic, protease and natural gum.

USAGE

Feed your fish only as much as they will eat (immediately) in a few minutes, 2 to 4 times daily. Smaller, more frequent feeding are preferred over a single large one. Do not pre-soak the food prior use! Pre-soaking washes out vitamins, color enhancers, other nutrients, and lowers the performance of the food. All Dainichi foods have a low inclusion of starches to prevent excessive swelling in the digestive tract. Pre-soaking of Dainichi cichlid food is absolutely not required nor beneficial! The lower protein content (38%) of VEGGIE DELUXE, is well suited to feeding plecos such as these two "gold nugget" individuals. This formula comprises 100% of their diet. The 1.0 mm sinking pellet is ideal for substrate dwelling E. melanogenys. With krill and spirulina inside and out, the yellow, green and blue colors are bright and vivid. The high content of spirulina and krill do an exceptionally good job of bringing out the red and blue coloration in a wide variety of cichlids, including this fine example of a "red empress". Although generally considered a strict carnivore, frontosas seem to relish this formula. The enhanced blue color of this "Burundi" type makes it virtually indistinguishable from many of the "blue" varieties.

INGREDIENTS

White fish meal, wheat germ, wheatflour, krill, soybean meal, spirulina algae, brewer?s yeast, calciummontmorillonite clay, powdered milk, vitamin mix, mineral mix, garlic, betaglucan, protease and natural gum.

USAGE

ULTIMA's high krill, shrimp, and fish meal content is key in promoting exceptional growth in cichlids like this 15 inch male "Burundi" frontosa. The nuchial hump is especially well developed. Also noteworthy is the blue coloration resulting from a post- extrusion encapsulation with raw un-cooked spirulina.

With one of the two applications of spirulina being in its pure raw, uncompromized form, blue hues of cichlids, like this Otopharynx lithobates from Zimbawe Rock, have no trouble maintaining their brightness and intensely. By not being cooked during pellet formation, spirulina maintains 100% of its color potency.

Ultima is an all-around colorformula suited for many cichlid types. Besides its blue enhancing properties,Ultima's carotenoid content stemming from spirulina, krill and shrimp, keepsthe yellows and other colors vibrant as well.

3. Dainichi Cichlid Color Supreme Sinking Small Pellet Food 8.8 oz (250g)
Features

COLOR SUPREME is highly enriched with 100% pure cultured spirulina, krill, and montmorillonite clay. This formula contains all natural minerals and nutrients designed to enhance the color and luster of your cichlids. With five separate applications of color enhancers, including two types of spirulina algae, COLOR SUPREME promotes optimum color in a short period of time, while providing your fish with a high protein, well balanced diet that maintains overall health and beauty. As in all Dainichi foods, there is calcium montmorillonite clay to simulate the natural ingestion of mineral particles and to bind and neutralize metabolic toxins. Fully potent vitamins, digestive enzymes and garlic ensure that the fish are healthy and free of internal parasites. Furthermore, the scouring action of the clay enhances the rejuvenation of the digestive tract which when combined with only two sources of starch (flour as binder and wheat germ as a ntural source of vitamin E and B) ensures the maximum rate of digestion and assimilation of nutrients.

INGREDIENTS

White fish meal, wheat germ, wheat flour, shrimp, spirulina, soybean meal, krill meal, brewer?s yeast, calcium montmorillonite clay, powdered milk, vitamin mix, mineral mix, garlic, protease and natural gum.

BENEFITS

The high concentration of easily assimilatable marine proteins promotes a very high growth rate and superb coloration. At the same time, the fish maintain a perfect body conformation. It is difficult, if not impossible to make Dainichi fed cichlids obese, the fish simply get larger instead!

The ultra-potent grade of spirulinal present in the COLOR SUPREME is especially effective in maximizing the red and blue colors of this cichlid variety. By not being exposed to the heat of the extrusion, these color enhancing ingredients are at 100% of their potency. We are the only manufacturer in the world that provides this level of performance in fish food.

The ability of un-cooked spirulina to intensify the blue and yellow hues of cichlids is un-paralleled. Likewise, the body conformation is virtually undistinguishable from that of wild cichlids as demonstrated by the "yellow lab". The 44% protein level is a direct result of low starch and high fish meal, krill, and spirulina percentages.
