Crab Cuisine Sticks

FEEDING SUGGESTIONS
For underwater creatures feed one (1) to four (4) mini sticks per animal twicedaily based on size. Care should be taken to avoid over-feeding, no sticksshould remain an hour after feeding. For hermit crabs feed approximately 2g offood (a thimble full) once a week. Leave food in the animal?s enclosure for 24hours. Remove all uneaten food after 24 hours to avoid contamination.
Hermit Crab Care & Maintenance: With proper care and feeding hermitcrabs can live to be 10 years old. A clean environment free of debris andstagnant or soiled water is necessary for optimum health. Hermit crabs requirelarge amounts of clear, clean water as part of their feeding. Their watersource should be changed daily. Ideally, the temperature of their enclosureshould be 75?F(24?C) with higher humidity and free of rapid temperature changesor drafts. Hermit crabs have no regular dining routine, rather they tend to eatat varying intervals from days to two weeks in length. For the best resultsfeed Hikari Tropical Crab Cuisine in a clean shallow dish once a week. After 24hours remove the food from the enclosure. Feed an amount equal to 2 grams offood (approximately a thimble full) for each hermit crab per feeding.

3. Seachem CupriSorb 100ml

Seachem CupriSorb is a narrow spectrum, synthetic adsorbent based filter material for removing copper and heavy metals from either freshwater or marine water. It extracts all types of copper, including chelated copper, and remains effective until it turns a deep blue-black color. It may be regenerated repeatedly. If placed in continuous service, it will gradually extract even precipitated copper and make invertebrate culture possible in tanks previously heavily treated with copper. CupriSorb is a powerful copper specific chelating resin.

Why It Is Different

Competing products are not chelating products, but merely cation exchange resins. Such resins can remove copper from freshwater but are ineffective in saltwater.

Directions

Use 500 mL for every 1,200 L (300 gallons*) to remove up to 15,000 mg (12 ppm) of copper. For best results, CupriSorb should be placed so as to maximize the flow of water through it.

To remove undetectable substrate leaching copper keep CupriSorb in use for at least 2 weeks after copper tests report no copper. Use in a canister filter, chemical filtration module, box filter, or any high flow area of a trickle filter. Exhaustion is indicated by a pronounced discoloration of the beads to a deep blue black color.

Use MultiTest Copper to monitor copper. When exhausted, CupriSorb may be discarded or regenerated.

REGENERATION: Soak in a non-metal container with 2 cups of water and 1/2 cup of muriatic acid (available with pool supplies: PAY HEED TO WARNINGS on acid container!). This is best done outside and away from children. Soak for 1 hour, rinse well. Repeat as required to restore the original color. Rinse well, add sodium bicarbonate until foaming stops, and rinse again. CupriSorb is now ready for reuse. If original color cannot be restored after several acid washes, proceed with rinses and bicarbonate step, then regenerate as HyperSorb or Purigen.
